Enhanced Perceptual Awareness

Awareness is a component of man’s basic human behaviour, and we are aware of about 30% of our environment. The other 70% is all unconscious awareness and though our levels of individual awareness vary, we can raise our conscious awareness levels considerably pushing the envelope. This way Increase our visual and emotional learning intake of an environment.

This is a key feature of human behaviour that a director will draw from extensively to develop his visual aptitude. The lessons learnt from experiencing, and observing daily life are actually great inputs into creative direction in film making.

For a director – film, music videos, commercials, and documentary; location, scene and staging are components that influence her direction and delivery. For a director the intention is to push a shooting script into a film and perception of the location/environment in the script rest heavily on the her shoulders.
